Cheap and relatively tasteful DIY door reinforcement

Well this is not a lock, but it look to me like a good, cheap, and not too ugly door reinforcement method, which one can easily install himself.
It's called The Door Club Home Security Lock:

Anyhow I thought it would be relevant, interesting and helpful :)
To infinity... and beyond!

Any "upgrades" like this could be used as evidence to keep the police out, and further shield them from your illegal activities. Cause, you know... they're allowed to come in and look around without notice.

Check out "The Mule Tool"

B and E, A to Z- volume 2
At 24:30 to 24:45 Shows a tool and method to defeat floor mounted device.

What ever happened to the mule tool?

It was too stubborn. :D
Just when you think you've learned it all, that is when you find you haven't learned anything yet.

Whatever happened to the "inch and a half" deadbolt at 3 min?
This guy needs a teleprompter, he is all mixed up
Hey here's an alternate way in :axeem:

Re: Cheap and relatively tasteful DIY door reinforcement

The door club was popular in my home town for B&E protection. A cop I was friends with got to do the demonstration for their commercial. Until some one started going around using a coat hanger to flip them out of the hole from outside the door, I had forgotten all about them.
