Brushed, nice. I got some brushed stainless steel but it feels nothing like this aluminium.

Yes, I want to know more. The diameter is 5mm but that is silver steel, it is only the handle that has been brushed like that.

Hey, sorry if I appear rude, I'm just interested. I'm also very impressed by your skill in making something as small and intricate as this. Cruciform locks are all brand new to me, but from what I can find out by Googling, your pick is unique in the world. If you don't want to say too much about it, that's fine. Have you thought of patenting it? There are cruciform lockpicks, but not like this one. Like I say, far as I know, this is unique.

You didn't appear rude man, no worries. It's not that I don't want to say much about it, there's not much to say! 4 sliders on a stem secured by thumbscrews.

The pick is unique but so is the lock, it is not a cruciform lock in the sense of all the other cruciform locks out there. This is more like a Tubar/tubular lock with only 4 sliders. A radial pin tumbler with sidebar, not shear line. That is a guess by the way, I have not dis-assembled the lock, I am just going on what it feels like to pick.

'Regular' cruciform locks actually have 4 individual rows of pins and the tools that exist for those are just 4 way rakes.

Patenting it would be a waste of money, the lock is just too rare to justify the sale of more than a handful of these picks, at best.

Do not worry, there are other, more intricate things in the pipeline!
