I tried an 1137B, but it was too wide.

Re: What's this keyway?
Looks very similar to Master Safety Lockout. The key has "400B" stamped on it.
Since I know nothing about keys or keyways I realize the above statement might be completely useless to you. But hey, fun fact right?

Re: What's this keyway?
From the picture it looks like the milling is a bit different on the left side of the keyway. On mine the top side of the groove looks slanted upward, while on the Master lock it's flat. Or is that just a shadow I'm seeing?
If I were still in Mexico, I'd hunt around for that B400 key, file some material out of the groove, and give it to the customer. Then he''d never be able to get a good duplicate.

Checkout Lockwood profiles on page 40 of pdf file.
Re: What's this keyway?
That L1 profile looks a heckuva lot like my keyway. I think you just solved my problem for me. Thanks!
Re: What's this keyway?
I think L1 will be too large but it's worth a try.

Re: What's this keyway?
My computer isn't allowing me to see the keyway, so I am going by other comments here. You might look at Corbin and Elgin also, they made a few similar keyways in a few sizes. Good Luck!

Re: What's this keyway?
OK now that I see the first pic and not just the picture of the Master padlock, I agree that L1 is probably the right blank for that rim cylinder.

Re: What's this keyway?
I agree with the L1 call. That is a cylinder made by Ilco. Bear in mind they use their own spacing if you are cutting keys on a code machine.

Re: What's this keyway?
L1 it was, and the lock was so bound up from disuse that it took a half a can of lubricant to force the thing in there. I'd have tried that blank once and tossed it aside if you guys hadn't all suggested the same one. I was afraid the spacing might be different from Lockwood, so I just cut a key by hand. Thanks for the help.
