Forever Lock: Cable Lock Concept

Hey Guys,

I got a new Forever Lock Demo model in today from the owner and wanted to share it with you guys.

It's the Forever Lock mechanism but adapted to be a Cable Lock. This lock would be for people who either want a lock more flexible than a U-lock or people who don't need to put their Bikes in very high risk situations. This would probably be best utilized when used in combination with another lock.

As far as cable locks go, I personally think that this is the sexiest one I have ever seen. It's big and heavy duty (weighing about 1.2 Kg) and has a really cool style!

One thing I notice with both the U-Lock and the Cable Lock is that they feel very sturdy and heavy duty. They don't feel "flimsy or weak" if you know what I mean. Although the "Security Level" of these locks is open for discussion, I stand firm in my stance that these things are bad-ass. If not used for locking, these locks would be great in any collection.

There are pretty cool locks. I'll be interested to see if they catch on with people when and if they hit the mass market.

I have an amazing grasp of the obvious. Beyond that, not so much.

Great find, and thank you for the video showing real time opening, too. :D

The other trade off with a cable lock versus a u-lock is that you would have a hard time hitting the lock firmly with a hammer - the cable lets the lock move away more easily. Yes, a u-lock may be stronger, but this should be reasonably secure.

Your very welcome~ I like making videos to share with you guys!

I am also very interested how people will like these once I start shipping some out! I have a important meeting soon to talk about the logistics of acquiring large amounts of locks. I am hoping I can start shipping out orders by June.
