Anyone ever seen one of these? (Umeika Lock)

Hey guys,

I recently received this lock as a gift from one of my friends here in Taiwan. It looks like a pin tumbler/ dimple lock hybrid with a cruciform style keyway.

Have any of you ever seen/picked one of these? If I count correctly, there should be 18 pins in that thing! ( 5 on the top, 5 on the bottom, 4 on the left, 4 on the right)

I have been trying to pick it for a couple of hours now with no luck.

Any tips?

Reminds me of a key for a Citroen. Except for the square center part.

Nice find!

Maybe your getting trouble because of security pin.. The top one looks to be serrated. Not sure though!
Go ahead, keep plugging away, picking on me! You will end up on bypass or with rigor mortise.
