I just got one of these and I have no idea how anyone could pick them. There has to be some trick I am missing here because it is pretty damn hard. Anyone got any tips on getting these locks?
Re: Help with picking a Corbin Emhart
kokomo and farmerfreak are abt the only two i know of that will have some real insight, there are others on here who have picked them tho...

I have seen Xeo and Kokomolock pick them and it looked like they had them down so there has to be some way. And yeah I heard it can be hard to get it back to normal again after picking it so I am sure that will just be a ton of fun.

Thanks Riyame. I have actually been watching that video a good bit since I got the lock to find a way to pick it.
What I am really having a problem with is not understanding how to set the pins to the right height and I can't really feel a binding order. I get clicks some times but I have no clue what they mean.
Re: Help with picking a Corbin Emhart
well Id suggest picking the lock like normal... till you get a false set... that should mean your pins are set correctly elevation wise just wrong rotation... then all you need to do is rotate them... however you plan on doing that...

Re: Help with picking a Corbin Emhart
Pick the lock like normal. The interlocking pins will bind vertically and will set right on the junction where they disconnect. Once they're all picked vertically the binding force will transfer to the shearing effect (disconnection of the interlock) of the pins and the ones that are difficult to rotate are rotationally incorrect, rotationally correct pins are able to be wiggled slightly. You'll know when they're all picked vertically as the plug will turn slightly due to the recess in the interlocking pinstacks at the junction where they disconnect. These pins unlike Medeco can rotate 360 degrees so your best bet is to keep rotating it in one direction until it becomes loose. You can release slight slight tension to rotate the pins but releasing too much will drop them vertically.

The code is hidden in the tumblers. One position opens the lock, another position opens one of these doors...

Also, do not rotate the bottom keypins once the lock is picked as you will be unable to re-connect the interlocking pins and you will need to re-pick it closed.

That depends on lots of factors lol. New/used, keys, what kind of lock (padlocks can go $300+) and current ebay trends
