Sorry, I personally don't know how to grab it and convert it...
But I can fix some misleading points in the film for you.
For starters, it is not a higher security Schlage lock. It is simply a Schlage lock.
The "special" tool he is making can be made out of any Schlage Everest key. It doesn't have to be the master groove keyway to begin with. You can simply file down any everest key into the master groove key. Also, paperclips work as well...
The check pin in the back of the lock was never intended to make picking harder in any way. It is used to uphold the patent on the keys. There is a special way of cutting that under cut into the keys that is patented by Schlage. The check pin is used so aftermarket keys made without that patented cutting technique won't work. (That's what I was told from a Schlage rep when they first introduced the Everest system)
Also, instead of using a specially cut down key or paperclip to lift the check pin. a lot of picks can be turned sideways to lift it when it is binding.
So, with that new knowledge in mind. Why would you like that video converted?!
