I can't imagine using that. Digital calipers and a chart will work a lot quicker.

Have it bookmarked on my phone. Sometimes I am away from home and my computer, and it lets me quickly work out the bittings. At work, I have micrometers, so can measure the keys.

I'd be really interested to see this used to make a proper 3D Model of the various standards. Since, ya know, 3D printing keys is a legitimate thing now. Snap a picture, find the rough depth per cut, and extrapolate the nearest code, high and low, print.
