Just got back from another locksmith swapmeet a couple hours ago.

Got me a set of VHS tapes dealing with BEST locks.

Some books & DVDs on passing the exam for the Contractor's License dealing with locks.

A mix box of automotive key blanks for $20.

A pin kit for Master Padlocks for $40.

And an assortment of older automotive books and such for $8.

Also had the chance to meet some old school buddies of mine and exchange phone numbers.

My boss was there too, buying up cylinders and electronic Cobra locks for dirt cheap prices.

All in all, today was a good day!

I'm looking at either buying a program/device to convert from VHS to digital computer format. The Best tapes are usually less than 10 minutes each but have good information.

Do you have a working VHS to play them? I have a USB capture card the connects directly to the RCA jack outputs on the VCR then plug into the USB port on a computer to record the stream. I think I know where it is, but will have to go check to be sure.

You know, for making an archival backup copy for personal use. Of course.

Here are some books I got at the swapmeet for $20. The passbooks on contracting licenses are worth $100 a piece and I got that with the Determinator Book for $55.
