Hell yeah Corey! Very exciting! Thanks for sharin' your victory with us. I love to see that!

Not that I've picked a ton of Medecos or anything.... but I'll never forget my first! What a thrill.

It is a Peterson DCAP lifter pick it is cupped out on end to help with lifting and rotating I bent it on pin four reaching around pin 3. So that is why it is bowed back a little, DCAPS aren't all that strong when u start getting farther back into the lock they are thin and tend to bend easily

So here's my contribution to the thread:

Image :fu:

I done the switch lock so that just leaves the classic and the biaxial I think.

Done the M3 in my hand so in the vice is next. One step at a time though! Now where's that MCS?!

Hey huxleypig, nice job on that Chubb. Does your lock have the slider? It's just a thing you have to press after you've picked it, but it distracted me many times before I managed to pick mine.

Cheers :)

Yes but I pushed it down before I set the last pin. Whenever it binds I push it. What a waste of time that slider is!

I have a Medeco I'd like to try if I ever get past my Americans. Could you guys post some pictures of the tools you use to pick them? Thanks!

Thanks, sour. I'll have to try it. I'd heard about some people using a hook with a groove cut in it and I thought I was going to have to make something, which terrifies me because I'm horrible with tools.

I tried that and it was okay, but nothing special really. If I were you I would just go with a normal short hook and really learn how to turn the pins with it.
