Master 911?

This lock has been driving me crazy. I think it's a Master 911? Had a yellow shrouding, but I cut it off to see what was underneath.

Doesn't seem like it should be this hard. Anyone have any suggestions or know what pins are inside?

Re: Master 911?

Dunno what pins it has yet (can anybody tell me what size Allen key is needed?) , but I do know the plug is really stiff to turn on those things (or just mine?) and it's hard for me to know when it's properly set. Keep checking the tension is all I can say ... takes me anything from 2/5/10 mins to pick.

Re: Master 911?

With 911's most of the time it's a tension problem.

Make sure the wrench isn't binding up against the side wall and the rivets at the bottom.

off the top of my head I'm pretty sure it's loaded with spools.

As i said just make sure your tensioning it properly and you should be fine.

Thanks for the pep talk. It was indeed all about the tension. Everything jams up pretty easy. Seems to be all spools like you said.

Re: Master 911?

I got a 911. but it has that weatherproof cover. it has spools and a serated driver pin (i think) in it. it isn't that hard for me. pretty simple. but practice makes perfect.

Re: Master 911?

the most trouble with me is setting the 2nd and 4th pins. they're 9 cuts. but a longer hook or a falle safe might work.
