Drain snake !

I've just bought a drain snake , so now i have 12 feet of 5mm wide spring steel .
That's a lot of home brew !
I think this may well be a good investment as although street sweeper blades are easy to work with , they appear too shallow to make good hooks with .
£1.00 and 2 drill grindstones at 65p each , this seems to be the best £2.30 i've ever spent ! I'll let you all know how it goes in the next few weeks guys an' gals !

Re: Drain snake !

You can get around 31 blanks of 11 centimetres , and today i made a hook ,
half diamond and i attempted a rake but it seems a bit too large for pin tumblers but i'm going to test it on a large padlock that has wafers in it
instead so it may not be a wasted effort after all ;)
