Can anyone tell me whats happenning when i've thought i had pick the lock(photo attached) it goes half way and needs to be picked again.

Is that a window bolt lock? If so then its something Ive experienced before. Ive picked a lockwood one similar to it. If its not, and its a standard sliding door lock, then disregard my dribble. ;P

it sounds like the drivers are getting caught in the bottom of the plug... just run a rake down the bottom of it while turning and it should free up...
