Non-key retaining Abloy/ disc detainer padlock???

It's more a curiosity than related to lock picking per se... just discovered this curious patent by Abloy concerning a non-key retaining padlock using disc detainer cylinder, by using a spring-loaded blocking mechanism not completely coupled with the cylinder...

As far as I know, all Abloy padlocks are key-retaining by design... anyone knows if non-key retaining versions are produced as described by the patent?
