Re: The High Security Lock Project

You should add the Schlage Wafer to the list of wafer locks. There not hard to pick, but were considered high security I do believe.

Re: The High Security Lock Project

I can't seem to find any pictures online of these at all. I once had a few knockoffs of the original design, I picked them rather easy with conventional tools. A very interesting lock.

Re: The High Security Lock Project

Wow, what an ambitious project, I must say. The list will never stop growing, but that makes this hobby so rewarding.
Here are a few hi-sec locks that came to my mind:
Boda -used to be made by Björkboda, now its Assa-Abloy:
http://www.aslatinoamerica.com/pdf/DeadBoda.pdf
And the Abloys upgrade for it, Bodaguard:
https://securitysnobs.com/Abloy-BODA-Gu ... -Lock.html
A similiar lever lock, Juwel:
http://www.juwel.it/casseforti-a-muro-a ... index.html
Zeiss Ikon, a cruciform lock:
http://www.mbausa.com/partsearch.asp?mc=IKON
And another Kaba, Gege pExtra:
http://www.kaba.com/cylinders-locks/Pro ... extra.html
Allso here:

-Happy picking, Wizer

Re: The High Security Lock Project

There's many pages on high security locks on lockwiki.com. Most pages will have detailed information and photos of the high security locks, as well as a description of their security features (probably helpful in trying to pick them ;D).

There is no real distinction between high security and medium/low security lock pages but many are applicable to your quest. You can browse some of the following to get started:

http://lockwiki.com/index.php/Lock_Manufacturers
http://lockwiki.com/index.php/Category: ... iner_locks
http://lockwiki.com/index.php/Category:Lever_locks
http://lockwiki.com/index.php/Category: ... bler_locks
http://lockwiki.com/index.php/Category:Sidebar_locks

Pages in http://lockwiki.com/index.php?title=Spe ... &limit=100 might also be useful but the high security lock pages are tagged with their approriate lock category already.

Re: The High Security Lock Project

3 Projects that I'm working on that I'd LOVE for u to help with are (increasing in difficulty IMO):

1) The T48 12 pin tubular lockpick. They come with both octagonal and circular centres - http://camlock.com/English%28UK%29/HTML ... amatic.php
2) The 7/8 pin Vanlock pick (already exists but expensive) - http://www.vanlock.com/vanamaticfeature.htm
3) The mizmatic tubular lockpick - http://www.mizengineering.com/p2-2.asp?pid=54
4£ The series 35 camlock, this one's crazy, doesn't have a shearline apparently! - http://camlock.com/English%28UK%29/HTML ... ies-35.php

I'm starting with buying one of each lock and probably using the key to manufacture a pick.
