"Concept Plus 10-Pin High Security Lock"

So I picked this up from eBay for about 10 bucks including shipping. I can't find any information about this lock online or the company "Concept Plus" at all. The lock is made in Brazil.
Instead of using a sidebar it has five extra key pins that interact with five cuts on the side of the key. It still uses the same sheer line, but has five regular pins and five side pins (that are basically regular just sideways).
I've attached a few pics of it. I didn't include the top pins because the five drivers for the regular key pins are all spools and the five top pins for the sideways key pins are regular drivers except that the springs actually sit inside the driver pins.
So here are the pics. If anyone has any info please post or PM me about it, its an interesting lock, I haven't managed to pick it as of yet but am working on it. Having the two sets of pins on the same sheer line reduces the chance of a false set. I figure that its best to pick the side pins first so the spools in the top chambers can have a chance to false and then work from there. I'll post a video of it when I get it picked though.

haha, the race is on huh, i've picked it without the side pins, and i've picked the side pins without the regular pins, now to put the two together. I've found that the side pins aren't nearly as secure as you would might expect, you just have to run your pick along them to set them...

It's a combination of dimple and standard pin-tumbler pins. The side pins are probably very easy to pick because of the limited amount of depths they can be. A lockwiki page will go up about this lock once I get mine :) In any event, I don't think it will be very hard to pick considering it likely has very poor manufacturing tolerances.

Got it picked open, not the easiest lock to pick but definitely not the hardest. I'll get it on video later and post it up.

Re: "Concept Plus 10-Pin High Security Lock"

oh darn... u won b4 mine even arrived... the mail man is 4 houses away tho, maybe ill get me a vid up tonight aswell(no, i wasnt waiting on him... i just go thome and saw him out there)

I has assumned that there are only 2 or 3 depths for the side pins and that since they are independantly set (unlike a sidebar where all must set b4 the plug will even minutely rotate) they would be semi easy...

just a 10 pin lock or 2 5 pins locks...
nice job gettin her open man
