Don't Tangle The Web With Rules

More regulation from the fucking worthless, socialist, UN...for our "protection". I hate these international, one world, eco-weenies telling us how to fucking live...and the FCC's Genchowski is a turd-sniffing lackey for the socialists in Washington...

Re: Don't Tangle The Web With Rules

I hate the idea of them regulating the net. At least the ways in which they are proposing to regulate it anyways. I wouldn't mind them forcing the ISP's to treat all traffic equally, legal or otherwise. I see that as the only way to keep it unbiased.

I'm not too terribly worried though. If push comes to shove. People will leave the internet en mass and link their computers together to create a woldwide darknet. Yeah, it may be tricky to pull off a darknet on that scale today. But since technology gets smaller and faster every year. It's only a matter of time until it becomes a trivial task. Hey then it would be just like the current internet, except without the service providers. :D

Funny thing is, FCC was told by two federal judges that they don't even have the power to do it.
