Enjoy your internet freedom while it lasts. I've been watching this internet filtering trend globally, and it is slowly stretching out its tentacles... and will most likely reach the US in a matter of time. The trend is this: a new bill or existing legislature that masquerades as a 'good' piece of legal restriction (to block child porn or something else) that is expanded to a wide-open free-for-all granting the government full control over blacklists.

Reaction: block it
Solution: diminished 'freedom'

I didn't miss the point. I merely bypassed it. When there is something wrong in society that needs to be addressed, and the people don't properly address it, (I hope I'm right in assuming that we all can agree on the evil destructiveness of child pornography), the government (politicians) will eventually take over. If we the people don't do something to rid the accessible internet of such undesirable elements, we'll all go the way of France.
