Just found this site that has pages of knife patterns/ templates in PDF format.

Anyone interested in making a knife or who already makes them will find tons of patterns here. Just about every shape there is.

The person who produced them has done a LOT of work and is giving them away free. Thumbs up.

He also makes beautiful knives.

Hey, very nice find.

Got a mate who’s currently rescuing some bloody ancient Aussie sheep sheers, intending to turn them into a pair of kitchen knives; I reckon with proper templates he might try his hand at something from scratch after.

Excellent link. This guy makes most of his tools including belt and disk sanders, heat treating ovens, etching transformers ( for cheap!), and a mess of jigs and fixtures. Highly recommended for anyone interested in getting started making knives.
