Hello from London

Hi Guys,

Really excited to be getting back into picking again. I used to do a lot as a hobby before university but then life got in the way...!

Was clearing out some stuff a couple of weeks ago and found the first pick and tension tool I made from old hacksaw blades. Picked up a CISA padlock I had lying around and was pleasantly surprised when I got it open after not too long. :D Needless to say, went straight online and ordered myself a set of picks and some second hand locks.

I'm really keen to improve my technique and I already have a ton of questions to ask so I thought I'd join here after reading some of the impressive tutorials.

Looking forward to chatting to you all,

George

Re: Hello from London

George... I'm Mike. Very good to meet you & I'm glad you're here. You're gonna love it!

Your history with picking sounds similar to mine. I've now been consistantly into it for about 2 yrs.
But the first time I got into it was about 13 yrs ago. It was only a matter of months before I put it
down though. Over the years I revisited lockpicking a handful of times, but again, only short bursts
of time. I hope I never have to set it aside again. Anyway, glad you're back George!

............ you will always return to your dark master. lol
