Hi from a penetration tester

Hey all,

So I only signed up on here a couple of days ago, and so far it's been great. There really is a load of great info on here, and people seem really friendly as well. I'm looking forward to get involved and hopefully contributing sometime soon.

So, a little about me:

- I'm based in the UK.
- I run an IT/Physical Security testing company.
- Basically I break into buildings and IT systems legally for a living along with my team.
- I've been a bit of a hobbyist with lock picking for a few months, but am starting to look at it more seriously, as the little I know has come in handy on a few engagements so far.
- Other interests are trying to learn the play the guitar, (well, I've been trying to learn for about 3 years, but life and work just keep getting in the way of this one)
- I think that picking locks may just very well become my new hobby.

Not too sure what else to say really, other than it's a great to be on here.

Yeah, I looked at your website when I approved your account. I kinda figured you did pen testing and stuff, or were at least grayhat-ish.

There really are a lot of people in IT who are into picking it seems. It makes sense though.

Anyway, welcome aboard, and feel free to drop in the chat and shoot the shit, ask questions and whatnot... it is often pretty active, and you can get questions answered much faster than by posting.

Really wish I had the drive to learn more about programming/hacking. This grey-hat stuff seems like it would be an awesome job. I think I'd excel at the physical side of penetration testing but the IT stuff is a skillset I've not yet attained.

Actually, I'm almost surprised that noone asked him if he worked for Mount Blanc, Parker, or Bic...

And yeah, IT sec is interesting stuff... can be really boring and tedious too though.
