Hello everyone.

My name Is Chris, Ive been a member of this site for a while without putting anything into it, i recently started to take a course online for locksmithing. I figured i might need some help with certain things. Looking around the site i see that there are a lot of talented people, and i quite enjoy seeing people defeating some of the locks that i hope someday i will be able to pick. I started picking locks as a hobbie when i moved to France and didn't know the language. While in France i competed internationally for them in Ice dance, a sport in which i have been a part of since i was 5 years old. I have now since moved back to Vancouver Bc, (my home town) and have decided to continue my interest in locks/Locksmithing. As far as my course is concerned, I have been taking it online with ICS Canada and am 6 modules away from finishing the course, That is to say Ive completed 14in 20. As Far as skill wise.. ive never picked a sidebar lock.. therefore have not really been intoduced into high security locks, although i am well aware of how the operate, just not able to manipulate them due to no practice.. Pin tumbler and wafer locks seem simple to me now, i am looking for something more challenging! :') i know a couple of you on the site and you may know me from youtube, i hope i get to know you all a little more in the time that i spend here. So for now i bid you good picking,

Chris/Pickafication.

Congratulations on graduating from "lurker" status! :D
You are a good picker and I'm sure you'll be rippin' through some high sec stuff soon.
Good luck in your courses!

Re: Hello everyone.

Chris, I've already said it... but I'm really excited to see ya here (and active) on the forum. Your YT channel was one of the first few I found when I was just starting out (which wasn't very long ago). After watchin' so many of your vids, it's nice to finally have a name to put with the face. And congrats on your new pursuit of locksmithing. Look foward to seeing ya on the board friend :D

Re: Hello everyone.

Welcome aboard Chris. I used to be able to get around an ice rink without falling down, is that considered dancing? Probably not, oh well. Enjoy the site, lots of talent here. ( though unlike you and I, they probably fall down. Snicker..Snicker )

Re: Hello everyone.

Funny you mention that Chris... it was my very first YT vid (how exciting)! And, one of the only neat discoveries I've actually made since I started. I've been thinking of updating/revising it a bit, along with the write-up on LP101... and postin' it all here. There's alot of other great forums out there... but KP's my home, almost exclusively nowadays :D
