Hello!
Greetings and salulations to all!
It's been a long time since I hung out on a forum, I kinda miss it.
I'm at best a casual/hobbyist who got into lockpicking by way of the early days of steampunk aesthetics of all things. It started with a love of a good mechanical clock mechanism, and morphed over to the love of any intricate mechanical device, including locks. I bought myself a set of picks, and still occasionally haunt garage sales and reclaim stores for new/old locks to play with. Once in a blue moon its even a useful hobby when a friend loses the key to something and don't want to take the nuclear option for getting it open.
As for me, I'm closer to retirement than university, I have a combination lock/safe Cole cabinet I'm going to ask for help with in a bit, and I'm going to poke around here for a while and see what fun and interesting factoids I can learn.
