Hello Fellow Pickers From Chicago

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm brand new to the website and fairly new as a hardcore hobbyist of locksport.
As the title kind of implies I'm from Chicago, born and raised. I actually started picking locks in my teen years for reasons that a teen probably shouldn't lol but that was a good 20 years ago, damn I'm old! Over the past couple years, the company in a superintendent for leases properties that they own, and as you can guess all of our tenants didn't always leave keys. My turn times started from the day they moved and our locksmith covered such a later area that she couldn't always get out right away. Since the company owned the properties and I had some experience, they asked me to get them open. Well from that point on, my more mature mind had a craving for knowledge on all the platforms and how they work. So slowly built my pick set up. I have maybe 10 Home brew picks, and umpteen tension wrenches. Other than that, I have a ton of Peterson, sparrows, praxis and some southord. As I'm sure all of you know, each has their place in my arsenal lol. I am a huge fan lately though of the Dangerfield Praxis kit from U.K. bumpkeys, but always am favored to my own lol. I'll help where I can when I can here, and I'm sure tons of questions will be coming!

Thanks for having me!
