Hello Pickers

I truly stumbled into lockpicking - one day a recommended YouTube video, completely unrelated to anything I usually watch, caught my eye. It was a truly crappy "how to pick a lock" video using one of those clear acrylic padlocks. But a few clicks later and I found myself working my way through most of Bosnian Bill's video catalog.

I've got an order in for the "7-pin adversary" lock from learnlockpicking.com along with their 14 piece set of picks, which I can't wait to get.

In the mean time I've also discovered the world of combination lock manipulation here on KeyPicking and I've read through as much literature on the subject as I can find. So now I'm keeping an eye out for a safe lock to start spinning as well!

I look forward to learning and talking with all of you here!

Re: Hello Pickers

Thanks!

Feels like a good start, just trying to be patient on shipping. :D

And this looks like by far the best community on the net to learn with, took a few days to find this place though!

Welcome

Ebay is a good place to get a safe lock. I bought 2 off there for a very reasonable price not to long ago.

Thanks! I'm keeping an eye on eBay, not much at a reasonable price currently.

Re: Hello Pickers

Welcome BenWo! My name is Mark. You will find all the info you will ever need on lockpicking right here, unless you get into some really exotic stuff. If that happens the best minds to pick (pun intended!) are still here. Get to know some folks, you will enjoy the journey. A great start is to stop by "chat" when you can, there you can get some real time conversation. Again, welcome aboard.

Hey thanks Mark!

I'm definitely glad I found this forum. I'll have to check out the chat sometime soon.
