extractor kit

The Klom 20 piece extractor kit is quite complete; several barb-end type tools-
including one with a near microscopic tip, several scissor style hook tools,
two set of forceps, a collection of double-bitted tools and and handfull of
spiral extractors, plus a very thin tool that is designed to slip parallel
along the side a key's warding-- I like this one in particular.

They are not the strongest tools, but that is to be expected for the thin
cross sections necessary to do their job.

Nice blue handles, on most of tools, make them easy to find among your
other tools. Handles are rigid plastic, like style to some of the Peterson
products.

The whole set comes in a nice black Condura type, zippered soft case.

Country of origin: China

Price: $29 US, plus freight/taxes

Delivery/leadtime: about 3 days (via air)

Usefullness: 4 of 5 stars. If your a Pro, you NEED a good set of extractors.
You never know when your going to get that service call saying
" My four year old, put toothpicks in our door lock. Now the key
won't go in", or the like. With a good kit such a call means
easy $$.

Overall score: 4 of 5 stars

Re: extractor kit

The 15pc of key extractors is a great set also for auto locks
toolscylinderkeyextractorsetsd.jpg

15pc key extractor set which allows the extraction of keys from both wafer and pin tumbler locks (auto/vehicles-domestic pvc doors) The kit allows the spreading of the wafers to allow key extraction. Key extraction can be undertaken using the screw style extractor included,As well as the saw style blade, there are 4 round spiral types which can get into the smallest gaps and grip the broken key.

Re: extractor kit

I got my a couple of Wedgeco spiral extractors a little bit back, I had a tough key broken off, I used them to no success, it wasn't the tools fault, the key barbed itself inside virtually sealing itself in. I only paid a couple of dollars for them. I didn't know about this Klom kit, when I get some money, I will probably buy one of these and check them out for sure. I always made a big emphasis on picks, I never gave extractors much thought. They are really important to have, especially the big selection. Thanks for the tips you guys. I may just have to make my first Uklockpickers order!!
I have been in the souls of many women, but I always end up on the soles of there shoes.
