Kronos Multipick

I closely watched the video that Bosnianbill Youtube did on the Kronos Multipick tool. What a great endorsement for the manufacturer. I bit the bullet today and purchased this electro-pick. I would have liked to see some BEST locks opened with this tool on the Youtube video. Does anyone have some feed back on this tool's performance? I know availability seems to be an issue due to high demand.

I use the Klom EPG. Since they changed the head to metal it has been fantastic IMO.

Re: Kronos Multipick

So, I have been playing with my new KRONOS MULTIPICK. At first, I thought this tool was a joke. I had problems opening several laminated MASTER padlocks with M1 key ways. After a little practice, I began opening these locks. I even opened a five pin MASTER lock too. Most of the problems seems to rest on my ability to tension a lock correctly. Two things: a tension tool must not slip and not bind against the bible. Locks will open with this tool based on the key way profile, and the presence of security pins. You have to adjust the throw of the needle, otherwise the kinetic energy is lost. Keeping the tool level within the key way and without twisting helps. The GERMANS make nice stuff, but honestly don't get caught up in the feeding frenzy and rush to buy this tool. The KRONOS MULTIPICK is extremely limited and I would encourage others to invest in a good quality pick set and practice picking the old fashion way. Overall, I have a nice tool, but now I find myself looking for better and smaller tension wrenches.
