Maybe Matt can tell ya what machine he uses. The one I pictured was cut by hand with files.
But I've seen a number of American Locks straight from factory cut with this same 'flat' style.

I once drove two fords, and had the keys cut so both cars are on the key, on different sides, if someone got the key, even chance someone who might get hands on it, would not believe it works if they put it in wrong side up.

Wizers key has a peak at the tip, this is a good idea because some keys with the various peaks cut off can be withdrawn from a cylinder with the plug turned leaving the lock in a picked condition, especially if the cuts are leve or stepped down to the tip of the key.
