Fantastic videos, really helped me visualize it.
Do you have a tutorial or a link on how to make a cutaway lock like that? Would love to make one of my one to learn on.

Very clear demo and a excellent job on the cutaway, I particularly like the fact you cut away the face to be able to see the 1st position pinstack from the front.

I understand that lockpicking is often by feel but for those of us that are visually oriented and just learning, it helps a lot. Thank you.

Cutaway locks are wonderful for learning the mechanics of how a lock operates. They're terrible however for learning to pick. In this case the use of a cutaway is just fine, but please don't think you need to get one to learn how to pick, picking a cutaway can lead to a reliance on visual feedback which is simply impossible on non-cutaway locks.

However, feel free to get one because they're cool as hell.
