Re: HOW TO : use my custom bogata rakes

when I first got me some bogotas i had no idea how to use them...
in an attempt to figure it i tried everything...

i believe that is the best bogata video ive seen... but you forgot the "too much coffee" jiggling motion... this is the motion that works best for me... not knocking the others though

nice video

Yeah, the "too much coffee" method seems to work best for me too. But whatever works for someone is what they should use.

Re: HOW TO : use my custom bogata rakes

Like always I guess I am the weakest link here! I have tried and tried but I can't get much good use out of my bogata, I like it but I am not succesful enough with it to grab for it. A few Kwiksets I used it on, it worked great, almost like a key, but most of the time I am highly unsuccesful.
I have been in the souls of many women, but I always end up on the soles of there shoes.

it takes a lot of practice to get the techniques down, just like SPP,and i also noticed , it's a "use it or lose it" skill....(not like riding a bike..)
generally, too much tension and a heavy hand on the boga are the most common problems,i have found.

Nice vid. Just out of curiosity are you still supplying them???? I only have triple rakes which are similar, from the Majestic set and the slim Southord set, which i get a good success rate with but would like a genuine bogota type pick for the collection.
