Delivery Time Thread

Well, I was curious as to the delivery time on tools and locks. So, without further ado, post how long it took for you to get stuff.

I'm talking actual shipping. So like from the time Hallis says "Hey, I shipped out your sample of Bull Spunk." to the time it arrives.

User - Shipped - Arrived
Person - Location/Month Day - Location/Month:Day

HallisChalmers - Texas/July 2nd - New York/July 6th = 4 Days
UKlockpicker - UK/July 10th - Texas/July 16th = 6 Days
UKlockpicker - UK/July 15th - New York/July 21st = 6 Days
Awol70 - Canada/August 6th - New York/August 11th = 5 Days

-----
I will update this list as ya'll post up more info for me.

Re: Delivery Time Thread

This is a good idea but it would be very hard to keep it accurate because you know what the postal service is like.

i ordered a guitar from america on december 11th and it shoulda taken two weeks to get to me.

i finally recieved it on january 28th

i was about to fly to america, and shit on the UPS customer service desk.

Lol, nice. Oh, and thanks for the move. The reason I posted it where I was is because I dunno. :P

But yeah, let me know about members you did trades with and stuff. I'm going to post them as I get them myself.

Next time..I'll just send you a PayPal invoice and then I'll shit on their desk for you.

It'll save you from wasting your time flying over, answering silly questions from Customs, renting a car, etc.

Re: Delivery Time Thread

my local post office hates me. (LOL)
seriously though. they will keep my packages forever.
one time i had one coming in to me and it had tracking and all so i checked online and watched it. it was at the post office itself for like a week before they delivered it
and going out takes forever too. i sent a package to wiz and i sent it out in mid december and he didnt get it until like the end of january :x

no kidding..=( that sucked...and to top it off they have been breaking and bending all my stuff..
its very disappointing when stuff gets lost or broken.
the last victim was my brand new klom tubular pick.
although it was well wrapped, several times in bubble wrap, they still managed to bust off three
fingers.
jeez..

Dont feel to bad, those feelers suck anyways they would have broken the first few times you went to adjust them. Me and a few other people have had the same problem with those feelers. Luckily there is a solution you can replace them with HPC spring steel feelers and be better than brand new and back in business. I also swapped the set screws to imperial the original ones are slightly smaller than the correct metric size.

Re: Delivery Time Thread

Here's my latest overseas purchase:

Sent from UKlockpicker on 10-July-2008

Received on 16-July-2008 to Houston Texas, via Air Mail

= 6 days

And better yet, nothing bent, broken or stolen!
(woohoo)
