Some locks for sale

Hey guys,

I need to unload some of my extras and am starting with below. I would like to ship USPS Flat Rate for $6 extra, but if you want parcel post I can do that for one lock for $3.50. However, it will come in a padded envelope (and the lock inside will cry). Let me know via PM if you are interested in anything

American Barrel Padlock with at least 1 key, but some have 2. The condition of these are great. I have 2 of these for sale: $17 $15 each

Re: Some locks for sale

Why is everybody ganging up on me? So many great locks being sold right now, so little money to spend. OK, some of you need to wait a month before listing your great locks, so I will have some money! :???:

If I could afford it, I'd jump at the Corbin Master Ring. Alas, it must wait.

Re: Some locks for sale

I received three Winfield locks, an American barrel padlock and some MIWA magnetic cam locks this week from Ed.

To say the American barrel lock is in "great" condition is an understatement. The one I received looks new.

The Winfield locks are cool. I look forward to gutting one and seeing if I can make keys for it. When I get time to do it I'll post pics. It looks like Ilco makes generic blanks for the keyway on the left, but I'm probably going to have to improvise somethign for the "maid" keyway on the right. I have a key punch that I think was made for Schlage wafer locks, I'm going to see if I can use that for cutting the bitting on the keys.

These aren't the first MIWA magnetic locks I have, but they're the first ones I've found that were cheap enough I'm not afraid to try gutting them and experimenting with them. I've heard they're notorious for launching parts when you take them apart, and since the different ones I bought before now cost around ten times what Ed is charging I was always too hesitant to disassemble them.

Thanks for the deals Ed.

MBI, are these definitely magnetic locks? Because I had a look at the keyways and they look like MIWA wafer locks to me?

Cool, not seen one with 4 magnets before. I'm so making a key for this...no, a pick then an aluminium key to put magnets into to make the key up!

The others I saw had lots of magnets on the side or 8 on the top/dimple pins on the reverse side.

I love magnetic locks!
