Re: wanted:Fichet F3D

No offence MrBinky but I think we all want one :)
You found yourself the holy grail of locks. As I heard they go for around 500€...
If you get one please be sure to post immense amounts of photos of it :)

Re: wanted:Fichet F3D

:agree:

Even the older style with the 'H' shaped keyway can be ridiculously expensive. Tried looking on France's eBay, but could not find a F3D.

Re: wanted:Fichet F3D

the H shaped is called 480-484 I think. But if you are only after the H shape you could have a look At DOM diamant. That's a nice lock BTW mr binky, maybe you find it interesting too.
Not an F3D, but still nice.
Oh and never write that price doesn't matter. You open yourself to vultures. They will know they can sell it ridiculously overpriced.
I had to learn the bad way that the Nr.1 rule of trade is research what you give and research what you want. Even more important when money is included. :)
Somehow money brings out the worst of many people. That's one of the reasons why I don't really buy lock any longer. Only trade.

Re: wanted:Fichet F3D

Ok, but be careful and I would strongly suggest to edit out all the references exclaiming that you are willing to spend unlimited amount of money on locks. I can already hear the vultures comeing.
Even if you have money to burn that's no reason to let yourself be cheated out of it and be taken advantage of. :)

Re: wanted:Fichet F3D

I am not sure but I think my locksmith might be able to order them. But since Fichet is not common here they are probably gone be expensive... but not 500€
Maybe people have paid that much because they could not get them though.....

Re: wanted:Fichet F3D

They are usually about 300 Euros when I find them on ebay for the F3Ds. The H keyway 484? is quite a bit cheaper.
