the pickers home brew
instead of having my stuff all over i am going to place it all hear. hear are a couple i jest finished last night with aluminum handles. i put a turned finish on them witch makes them more pleasing to the eye then covered them with a layer of clear varnish to protect the handles from scratches hope u all like.

Those look really good! I like the finish on the aluminum handles. Are those roll pins securing the pick to the handle?

ya roll pins with super glue for a little more stability they hold really well

thanks to all for the feed back and to mister sour its about one and a half hours a pick the steel is a stanly bi metal hacksaw blade and they r about .023 thick

my newest addition to me home brew the double ended pick with a notch in the short hook and a medium size bogota. all the same as the first two and took me about 2hr to finish.

i thought i would give wood a shot and came up with this. not sure of the wood it was a piece of scrap where i work the steel is a piece of napa feeler gauge .017 thick.
