Re: some picks

I think the half diamond was a nice pick profile to go with that handle style. Beautiful work, as always.

Re: some picks

the originals...
these are the picks that some chinese or korean company copied a while ago.
I finally got around to finishing up the ebony pick tonight. I am keeping this pair for myself as I think these are probably my favorite picks I have made. I'm working on a similar pick in boxwood right now that i will sell.
I'll take a better photo later. I'm not in the mood for photography tonight.

Re: some picks

That is some beautiful work! I really like the detail on the back of the pick! That must have taken some time. I can see why your keeping those for yourself.

Re: some picks

Here is a pick I am working on now. Handle is boxwood sanded to 8000 grit. Boxwood looks really nice sanded t such a high grit. I just need to finish it with oil or something.

The pick is an offset half diamond. Its taped up to protect it while I sand.

Re: some picks

This boxwood pick is finished and will go up for auction soon, I just need to get a better photo of it. It's sanded up to 8000 grit and has a super smooth finish, but you can't tell at all from this photo.

Not a pick, but a wood carving knife... thought I'd post it anyway...

I've been busy with other things, but I will probably be finishing up some of my half finished picks this month.
