PHOTOS OF SECURITY PINS

here are some of the security pins i have come across over the last few months
including mushrooms, spools, barrels, and regular serrated pins. This should help a lot of beginners and save a LOT of explaining / typing .
if someone asks what any of these security pins look like just refer them here,
and go back to more important things....coughpickingcough =)

nice job, the first 1105 i ever picked was real messed up, keyway was all gummy and pins were stiff so it made it one heck of a challenge.

yes, they come with a mixed bag of regular serrated, and hybrid serrated spools for driver pins,
and their keypin counterparts are generally all serrated, unless they are short pins,
which wont carry any any serrations.
you can peer into the keyway, using a light and a needle pick, and generally identify at least some of the pins.

try jumbling the drivers for a different challenge....you would be amazed just how much this affects the lock's "personality".
