Nice work making a custom key! It's surprising how simple the bitting is on that lock.
Re: Meyer & Eiffler Push Key Padlock Impressioned
I thought it was a more difficult lock when I first started. I had 3 hours prep time reading and picking. then when I went to get fifth mark it opened.
I was happy and sad at the same time.

Very nice Brett! I've had a couple of pushkey locks for sometime. Eventually I'd like to attempt
to make some keys, but I'm pretty unfamiliar with em'. Just as you did... I'd have to research a bit.
Well done. And thanks for the inspiration

Next time I get one of these push key padlocks I wanna try Lauren's method of pulling on the shackle while probing the tumblers, until the lock opens. Then you can measure the tumblers to make a key. I have only seen the round pancake-type of push key padlocks so far

been looking to get one of those types of padlocks for a long time.
