DIY Impressioning Handle

First off this is not my idea, I stole it from DAZ over at dbc lock forum, thanks for the great idea. I picked up this windshield removing tool from Harbor Freight for the low price of 12.99. Remove the metal cutter and BAM, you have a great impressioning handle. Works great, the key won't even move once you have it secured with the screw. One note, the space is not quite wide enough for a key so I had to use a file and open it up a little.

That looks like a gr8 idea - infact the two just go together great picture the key blank looks as snug as a bug in a rug

got one myself off dbc and they work a treat....Mine has been modified with another hole drilled and tapped just in front of the screw that goes through the bow with a grub screw to make sure nothing moves...

Nice minor adjustments for half the price of the original tool - great idea's all round

The handle thats left over just says bump hammer to me - stick a plastic stopper/rubber on it

Very nice! I often use my HPC code machine to make my cuts, when impressioning. Looks like this handle can stay on the key during the process.
