Actually I've never seen one of these picked.
you should open it to see if it's masterkeyed.
turn the key, remove the shackle, there are two screws at the bottom of the shackle holes.
once that's done, you can remove the base plate that holds the dustcap on.
with that, you'll just have the core left.
insert your key, turn it about 45 degrees, and yank it out. there are no parts that will go flying, so don't be shy. sometimes they can get really stuck in there by the O-ring.

okay,i actually was in the process of taking it apart when i ran into a retaining pin for the shackle,
it's a spring steel roll pin...
(it is a size smaller than i have drift punch)
so i guess i have to find something..
i will post on my progress...
i am thinking graphite would be best for lube here?
anything else ,it seems to me,would gum up the works.
oh,and one more thing,what happens if i remove the key whilst the plug is out?
thanks..=)
Re: INGERSOLL 10 LEVER SHROUDED PADLOCK PICS
nah you'll be fine. these things are pretty nifty to work with, no pieces will fly out all over the place.
graphite is best. but don't spray it into the keyway.
the correct way to graphite any lever locks is to remove the levers, spray some graphite powder onto a clean piece of paper, and rub the levers onto it, both sides. this puts just the right amount on.
