Question about DIY american bypass

Okay guys, with the advice so far given, ive managed to get the tool to work on at least 1 of the american locks, which is a huge plus. Additionally, I have seen a strange behavior occur. I have a 5100 series lock with an R1 keyway that the bypass tool will reach through to the back and move the cam, but, only to a point. Once it hits that point, it seems like the cam slips off of the bypass tool, leaving the bypass tool rotated 180 degrees in they keyway. When this happens, it gets slightly stuck. The crazy thing about that keyway is that the bypass tool conforms to the keyway perfectly when upside down. So, once i work on my next set of diy bypass tools, i plan on making a reverse bypass tool, that should work on R1 keyways. On a side note, does anyone know where i can get a key blank for the r1 keyway so i can make a working key for this lock?
