Dimple // foil impression kit. which locks will it open?

i am of course refering to http://hackaday.com/2010/02/03/foil-imp ... ity-locks/ we've all seen the video but do we know which locks itll open? im ordering a few things from this site anyways and they are out of stock on a few items and i want to get into dimple locks(im already ordering full klom set + kabbah pickset) id like to know if this is worth the investment or if itll basically only work on some random chinese locks that ill never come across.. i know it reads kabbah but besides that will it work on any other dimplelock? or is it a waste of money for now? ive seen UK sites sell parts of the kit for a fraction of the price but id like to get the entire kit.. unless there is a new updated version.. also i realize taht there is a similar thread on the subject..
