Re: Supra C lockbox

That is exactly it. I almost bought one today but wasnt sure what they were and then i logged on and it was on the main page someone asking about it, crazy. I may buy one to try out since it is innergroove style, i have never tried one like that, shop has two 8.99 each.

Not a bad price in my opinion. I would buy one just to have it, especially since you dont have to pay shipping on top of the $8.99.

Re: Supra C lockbox

Mister Sours versions have a type of lock that is called NIX PIX and there are keys to them that are recombineable, meaning you can take it apart and move the bits around.

I have a long half made pick for this lock, the trick to to find the right piece of metal to make the hex of slider slots in
I need to find that an finish it.

but it dosen't really have to be metal if you are not forceful in using it.

Re: Supra C lockbox

I just googled NIX PIX and found that this lock made in the 1930's has versions that contain many more pins than the six pin variety that I have commonly seen. some of the padlocks on www.antique-padlocks.com have as many as 12 sliders.
