Re: American Keyless Co. Chicago No Key Padlock Decoding Met
I just won another on ebay without the combination known. I will be doing an OTB decoding vid to prove or disprove this method. I hope it works!
Re: American Keyless Co. Chicago No Key Padlock Decoding Met
I got my second American Keyless Lock Co. Chicago No Key padlock. I tried to make an OTB decoding vid, but as time wore on, my confidence faded. I was playing with it and could only find two stiff numbers. All the rest were really loose. So I pressed the two stiff buttons and ran around the board and pressed each numbered peg from the front and back. When I hit the 6, the numbers locked up and wouldn't move! I thought I broke and it scared the crap outta me. But as it turns out, the lock is so unused, it was just stuck. So when I pulled on the shackle, it opened. So, inconclusion, My first stated method worked to an extent, but futher research is needed. I had to improvise to figure this combo out, but thats why I love this hobby! I will continue to presue a consise method of decoding for these locks. They have definitely earned their way to my top 5 favorite.

clearly you couldnt be shooting down my method, as both of ours work! competing methods is not a bad thing, so long as progress is made!
Re: American Keyless Co. Chicago No Key Padlock Decoding Met
I did use your meathod...
I found only 1 number to "bind" BUT while i pushed that number in i found another number to "bind" then while holding it in... the 3rd number bound... then the lock opened...
so yours indeed works...
i can still call you a loser
... loser
