Cyberlock, but I believe their somehow related to Videx. The Cyberlocks are pretty neat, they provide allot of different features for access control, access times, auditing, logging, etc.

Medeco Nextgen XT also looks like that. Probably all the same lock, just licensed to each vendor.

Videx's Cyberlock and Medeco's Nexgen compete in the same market but are completely different locks. I'm unsure who Medeco has been working with to develop the Nexgen though.

I find this very interesting. After much back and forth I'm feeling that is a Nexgen from the shape of the receptacle area around the contacts and the inner "surround" material. I have not seen a Nexgen with 3 independent contacts on the lock face before now (looking further I see this is now common though). Cyberlock can vary between 2 and 3 contacts depending on the application, but they always have a metal surround material around the contacts except for security guard checkpoint applications. In locks they always use a metal surround material. (And by contacts, I mean independent gold connectors - all models of Cyberlock and Nexgen have 3 conductivity paths between the key and lock, some models just rely on a case ground rather than a specific connector for ground).

One of my favorite "In the Wild" locks. On the gate of Meijer's Garden Center.

It's just so refreshing to see an 'Oldie but Goodie' in use! Guess that's why I like it.

I had a similar idea but I wanted to take pictures of security cameras. But I think it's a bad idea to show their locations and such. I am interested in learning about CCTV, so that is my reasoning behind my idea.

Fgarci03 did a great post on how to bypass a camera/video security system a while back on another site. Remember it, fgarci?
