Thanks for the positive comments guys to answer a couple of your questions

I did not cut these myself the S&G is a factory cutaway

The Anchor las I got from a guy in the Netherlands a couple of years back apparently it was very hard to cut out due to the
grade of the material it is made from

I have another 10 or so high end cutaways I shall get them photographed & post them .

Delicious  I love the Anchor Las + Assa Desmo

The cutting is so smooth, especially the S&G one... I wish I could have them both

Wow! those are very very nice cutaways... it's making me rethink the idea of making an X-Y collar for my drill press so I can mill hard metals.

As I mentioned in a previous post I will be posting some of my other cutaways

Regarding the milling out process the company I work for has a manufacturing facility for making the equipment we use CNC machines are used
from what I have seen they seem to be using high speeds on the cutters & really flooding the work-piece with coolant however I do not know if that
was how my Ancchor Las was cut out

One of the cutaways I will be posting was cut out using a mini mill & the finish is as good as any factory cutaway however it is brass so I am guessing
the lock material hardness will depend on how it turns out & the skill of the mill operator
