Hmm ...
The last photo in the description shows both the Clear cover and solid metal cover. Being that it's transparent, perhaps you didn't see it?
Maybe they forgot to include it.? I would ask for it, or a refund. Ship them back an empty package, and tell them the "transparent lock" is hard to find.

No magnetic properties usually means - a cast alloy of some kind as been used - Chinese cast alloy
possible 60 sec opening time if fitted to a safe ...given the test results the metal case would help as the heat builds
through the key way ...and any relocker fitted to rear - back of lock unless it was made of the same alloy would
be next to useless as the bolt ...slowly disappears leaving a see thru - lock indeed

great as a low cost practice lock - always best to check with a magnet locking bolts and cases to see if a cast alloy
as been used as some cast alloys... have a very LOW melting point :???:

I got mine today. It has a clear front held on by a screw on one side (the other side lifts up a bit). But, it came cracked. I'm contacting them now about it. The plastic feels very cheap. If it didn't have any cracks, it wouldn't be a problem but it feels much more likely to have pieces break off now. It also has a metal plate to swap out with the clear covering too. http://i.imgur.com/m29dsOL.jpg
