Cool old Master Lock factory cutaway

I found this in a lot on Etsy. Everything else was pretty worthless but this really caught my eye. But I held off for a couple months then checked back recently and it hadn't sold so I figured I'd make them an offer and they accepted. It needs lubed and cleaned really bad but I'm afraid to do anything to it cause I don't want to ruin it. Haha. Any advice on how to clean it or a good lube would be greatly appreciated:D

I sometimes use CLP that is made for firearms. It cleans, Lubs, and protects. I has some teflon in it and it has worked well for me. It comes in a spray can and can be found at Wally World.

Hey bud, great lock you got there. Im trying to remember if you sent me a pic of the other locks in that lot but you know my memory. Congrads, very nice lock. As for cleaning, if its just dirt then you can just use soap and water but if its old grease and crud then Im with Riy, brakleen that sh*t and the dirty will wash away on its own. Brakleen has zero residue so once it drys (which is seconds) you can apply WD40, hold on now I know you are all jumping off your seats cause I said WD40 but this lock wont be used outside so there is no dirt to attract however since its an oil lube, it will have and keep having a nice shine to it even a year from now or until dust settles on it lol.
