Ill be honest I didnt think I would have anything to contribute until I started paying attention. There are so many "secure" jokes out there is beyond funny, type scare actually lol. I have one more to add but I forgot to include my name in the pic so Ill be going back to that place soon.

Schlage Everest LFIC "securing" an exterior gate at a residential building. Only problem is, it's maison keyed with only the check pin. Key can be retracted with the plug turned, leaving the gate unlocked. Not to mention any Everest or Everest Primus key that'll pass the wards will open. Or a street sweeper bristle. Or a wire. Or...

at least the lock secured something - a few weeks ago the rest of the bike was also there but its definetly no good idea to secure only the front wheel

Generally, when one locks up an item of value with a cable and a padlock, one wants to make sure the padlock shackle passes through BOTH cable loops.
