Re: INGERSOLL KEY CODES ??

Here is the D-series Ingersoll key cut guide ! :geek:

please note the tip is cut but are NOT cut depths for the levers as I see it !! a cut card can not be produced for this D-SERIES KEY as the spaces required

do not fit on the cards...unless one is produced from tip even then it will be close due to the length of the key.

I picked up one of these today...for £20!! In box, with all its bits. And a boxed SC71 to boot. Stoked! About £500 worth? Both new.

Re: INGERSOLL KEY CODES ??

Thanks, fellas! This has been really helpful!

Does anybody know how to translate the codes (e.g. 123S123) into bittings. I know that the letter = the keyway, but knowing the numbers'd be really useful.

Thanks, all!

Re: INGERSOLL KEY CODES ??

Thoughts on this after watching vid and decode after lock is picked
Really same as any lishi style pick .really good job Mr H

Keep in mind which side the hole is ... looking at the key or blank when decoding.

https://imgur.com/a/UFRoMWS instacode card and blanks a decade later lol.

I Put a Silca ING 5 key blank together with a ING 3 blank used for the 6 lever Ingersoll locks
For the 1st time this morning to see if there same width and can confirm they are only differ in length.
If anyone can confirm they use same lever cut depths ..as it looks possible

Still don't have the 6 lever ingersoll lock to check this ..if you have post it up please .

Cheers Ringo .
