I received this core from Malekal, so I decided to make a key for it.

First, using an A1 decoding block, I removed the pins from the core.

Here are the pins. I measured them to get the values to use to create the keys for this core.

I then reloaded the pins into the core.

I cut keys and tested to make sure control and master keys work.

After all was proven, I capped off the core.

Then I placed the core back into the housing.

That's basically it. For pros, how long would it take to dump the core and make keys?

Wow, looks like he used master wafers to cap it.

It would take a few minutes. Time enough to measure the pins and get the key cuts then 20-30 seconds to cut each key

I was initially wondering how you can pump out keys so fast, but then I remembered you have a Best punch. I think that's much faster than my method.

Riy, I am sure you know this, but you can use .035 master wafers from a normal pin kit if you run out of caps :)

I have hammered SFIC master wafers flatter/wider before when I had no caps. They worked. But am glad I have proper ones now. :)

Run out? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA   Thats good, really funny. ~wipes away a tear~ I think I have.... 7-8K caps left

Plus if you use those they tend to blow out the chambers faster so you en up getting less use from a core before it is junk.

I didn't mean YOU running out...I meant a normal, non-hoarding user of Best :P
